Vicki Tiegs

DIRECTOR

With over 20 years experience in communications, marketing, publicity and management, Vicki Tiegs has a skill-set drawn from working in finance, retail, charity and media.

She spent an exciting 12 and a half years with the WIN Corporation – a 50 company group that includes WIN Television, i98FM, C91.3, WIN NBN Sales, Crawford Productions and winNET. In early 2002, Vicki was appointed Network Promotions and Publicity Director for the WIN Corporation responsible for managing all corporate announcements and media relationships.

Vicki also has a strong background in the not-for-profit sector, having previously held roles at the Queensland Spastic Welfare League as Regional Fundraiser, Marketing and Media Liaison Officer. In her time with the League, she broke every one of its fundraising records in the state with a total of $2 million raised from the tiny Central Queensland region in a three-year period and created a high media profile for the organisation.

Vicki was a member of the Farmhand organising committee which culminated in a live telecast on the Nine and WIN Network.  The Farmhand Appeal raised over $20 million in drought relief for rural and regional Australians.

Her previously held role as Network Promotions & Publicity Director for the WIN Corporation, and her exemplary skills in negotiating and managing high level publicity contracts with local, state and national media outlets across television, radio and press will ensure no opportunity for sponsorship is overlooked.

Since 1998 she has been a Director of Tourism Wollongong and in March 2005 was appointed to the Wollongong Sportsground Trust (now Illawarra Venues Authority) by the NSW Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation.  In 2007, Vicki was appointed to the board of the Illawarra Academy of Sport.  She is also a member of a number of charitable committees including International Women’s Day Illawarra, Legacy Business and Community Support Committee and the NBCF Illawarra Global Committee.
