Account Manager Stefanie De Santis complements The GFI team with her highly proficient writing skills and remarkable attention to detail. Having successfully completed a Bachelor of Journalism in 2009, Stefanie is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Communications & Media Studies (Marketing/Public Relations) at the University of Wollongong. Responsible for business development and client relations, as well as funding program identification, grant research and writing, market research and social media communications, Stefanie’s professional approach and bright disposition makes her an invaluable member of the GFI team.

Stefanie provides key support to senior management at The GFI in the preparation of large and complex state and federal funding submissions, including most recently the Green Car Innovation Fund (AusIndustry), Green Building Fund (AusIndustry) and the TQUAL Grants program (RET). She is also responsible for self-managing and preparing funding submissions for a range of clients in the corporate and community sectors. In the last 12 months, Stefanie has been successful in securing funding from both government and philanthropic sources, including The Commonwealth Bank Community Grants Program, WIIN Grants (Enterprise Connect) and Sponsorship of Community Events (Wollongong City Council).

Stefanie also has extensive experience in media and public relations following roles at leading Sydney public relations agencies, where she developed an impressive client communications portfolio covering well known consumer brands such as Lee Jeans, Vans, Betty Crocker, Parker Pens and AGL.
