Peter Valerio is known throughout Australia and Internationally for his work in the field of market assessment, analysis and forecasting. He is one of a small number trained to advanced level in the data mining software used to interrogate the National and International Visitor Surveys. His work in evaluation has been cited and published internationally and he has been sought by Australian and international clients to determine major resource allocation decisions.

Peter was retained by the Hong Kong Government to guide post-handover global visitor strategy and is the author of Local Government Area visitor volume and profile methodology. He has conducted in-depth market reviews and prepared official Government endorsed forecasts for over 30 individual source markets  (international and domestic). Peter’s visitor and expenditure forecasts are currently the official forecasts of the NSW Government.

Peter provides considerable expertise in the development of evidence based economic impact assessments regularly required by large government funding programs. His success-rate in the 2009 TQUAL grants are unrivalled in the history of the program. He has advanced writing skills which he is able to adapt to suit specific audiences.
