Government funding for WELL trained workers
The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations’ Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) Training grants offer funding to Australian organisations to provide workplace-based English language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) training.
WELL training assists existing employees to undertake training essential to retaining their job and to progressing in the workplace by integrating English language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) training activities with vocational training delivered in the workplace. The program also assists pre-employment Indigenous Employment Program (IEP) participants to gain the skills necessary to enter employment.
Applications for WELL training grants may be submitted at any time during the year. For more information visit http://www.deewr.gov.au/Skills/Programs/LitandNum/WorkplaceEnglishLanguageandLiteracy/training/Pages/Home.aspx
